- Perform preventative maintenance & advanced tractor/trailer repairs
- Diagnose and repair powertrain, driveline, suspension, steering & braking systems
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including ABS & collision mitigation
- Repair HVAC, cooling, aftertreatment & exhaust systems
- Work on liftgates, reefer systems, APU systems & roll-up doors
- Read schematics & technical drawings
- Document repairs and ensure DOT compliance
Job Requirements:
- Tractor maintenance experience
- Ability to complete advanced repairs independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety
Preferred:
- 2 years tractor maintenance experience
- Associate’s degree in Heavy Duty Truck Technology
