America First Healthcare is a private insurance company helping freedom-loving Americans protect their health and their American Dream. We run paid media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and we need a creative videographer who knows how to tell a story through a lens. This is not a talking-head role. We are looking for someone who can receive a script and transform it into a visually compelling, emotionally engaging video ad that stops the scroll and moves people to act.
Job Role
Receive scripts from our copywriting team and translate them into high-quality short-form video ads for paid social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Plan and execute creative shots, angles, lighting, and pacing that bring each script’s message to life. Film 15–60 second direct-response ads with a strong visual storytelling approach — every frame should serve the product’s story. Collaborate with our copywriter to fully understand the tone, hook, and intended emotional journey of each ad before filming. Capture clean, well-lit, professional-grade footage and hand it off to our dedicated editor, clearly organized and labeled. Maintain a fast turnaround from script to delivered footage, while keeping creative quality high.
What We're Looking For
You are a natural visual storyteller. You understand how to take a written script and make it cinematic — you think in shots, not just sentences. You have hands-on experience filming video ads or branded content, and you know the difference between content that entertains and content that sells. You have strong command of camera work, framing, lighting, and composition. You understand direct-response advertising: hooks that grab attention in the first 2 seconds, problem-solution structure, and clear calls to action — and you know how to reflect all of that visually. You are organized, reliable, and able to deliver consistent creative output at volume.
Bonus Points
Experience filming product or service ads in the health, insurance, or financial services space. Familiarity with VSL (Video Sales Letter) structure and pacing. Ability to suggest creative shot ideas or visual metaphors that elevate a script. Experience directing or coordinating other on-camera talent. A portfolio that shows range — from emotional storytelling to fast-paced direct-response ads.
