Role Description
This is a per-diem, on-site role for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), based in Mount Holly, NJ. The EMT will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing immediate medical care, and safely transporting patients. Daily tasks include assessing patient conditions, administering basic emergency medical care, operating emergency vehicles, and ensuring the proper functioning of lifesaving equipment. Teamwork, responsiveness, and adherence to safety and medical protocols are critical for this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and hands-on experience in Emergency Services
- NJ-EMT, NREMT, or PA-EMT-Basic certification
- Knowledge of BLS practices and foundational medical care
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond promptly in high-stress situations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Current CPR/AED professional responder certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
