Responsibility:
- Provide instruction in both English and Spanish.
- Hold and maintain a valid Illinois Cosmetology Instructor License.
- Teach cosmetology theory and practical skills.
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training.
- Evaluate student progress through assessments.
- Ensure compliance with IDFPR regulations and school policies.
- Maintain attendance, grades, student progress reports, and required documentation.
- Demonstrate proper sanitation, infection control, safety, and OSHA standards
- Supervise, mentor and motivate students
- Participate in faculty meetings
Qualifications
- Required: Active Illinois Cosmetology Instructor License.
- Required: Fluent in Spanish
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Proficient in current cosmetology techniques, products, and industry best practices.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
