Hiring a Senior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist. As the EHS Specialist you will be responsible for environmental, health and safety compliance and program management for level 1 site. You will also provide regulatory expertise to ensure regulatory requirements applicable to the facility are known. Plans, organizes, and implements environmental, health and safety activities at the facility and assists in monitoring all facility activities to ensure that regulatory and company requirements are met.
THE SKILLS SET NEEDED
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline or other applicable to the health, safety and environmental fields.
- 9 years of experience working in industrial health, safety, and environmental activities.
- Working knowledge of various safety regulations or standards (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, NEC, etc.).
- Ability to work non-traditional hours or shifts.
- Excellent verbal and written skills along with exceptional interpersonal skills
