Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk/Night Auditor, where you will be the welcoming face of our hotel during evening hours. This vital role combines guest relations, administrative duties, and hotel management responsibilities to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. As a Night Auditor, you will oversee nightly financial reconciliations, handle guest inquiries, and maintain the safety and security of the property. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information and directing calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying transactions, balancing ledgers, and preparing reports for management
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of common areas, and controlling access to the hotel premises during overnight hours
- Update reservation systems accurately and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
- Foster positive guest relations by providing personalized service, offering local recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable
- Experience in night audit procedures or hotel accounting practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations with professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
- Familiarity with hospitality standards including phone etiquette, guest services, and security protocols
