As a Business / Estimate Manager at AmeriBuilt, you will be expected to work closely with our team and subcontractors to ensure that every project is executed with the utmost attention to detail, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role will involve a mix of business development and project estimation.
Your primary focus will be to secure new business opportunities by actively seeking and engaging with potential clients while also handling the estimating process for those projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, including hands-on experience in estimating.
Key to success in this position will be your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with architects, subcontractors, and vendors. The role also requires a strong understanding of construction processes, cost estimation techniques, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while keeping a sharp eye on quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Development: Actively seek new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with developers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Bid Management: Analyze project blueprints and specifications to create comprehensive bids for projects.
- Team Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Negotiation: Negotiate project costs and terms with vendors, and subcontractors.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address issues or challenges that may arise during the estimating or project execution phase.
Qualifications:

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
