OVERVIEW:
AmeriBest Home Care is dedicated to providing high quality home care services to valued members of our community. The Recruiter is a vital contributor to AmeriBests mission to deliver exceptional home care services in our community one client, one caregiver, and one visit at a time.
Reporting to the Director IDD Services it is the IDD Recruiters responsibility to analyze staffing issues (consistently open shifts, particular acuities needed of caregivers, hard to staff areas, etc.) in AmeriBests service area. The Recruiter must execute a customized strategy enabling our recruiting/onboarding efforts to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients and caregivers as well as provide staffing resources to the Developmental Care team.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
Sourcing, recruiting, onboarding and staffing of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Work with Dev. Care staff to place/staff current and incoming clients and ensure good matches are made
Work directly with the HR team to ensure candidates for clearance are moved along in a timely fashion, reporting any issues to Director IDD Services if needed
Customer service, demonstrating compassion and resolving problems
Execute strategies to enhance the staffing experience of clients and caregivers
Work with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh Developmental Care/HR departments to move DSPs through the hiring process
Provide analysis, metrics and weekly reporting regarding hiring and staffing
Communicate effectively with the Client Services team, management, and co-workers
Alert Dev. Care staff when a new DSP is cleared to begin work
Achieve weekly hiring numbers, as specified
Requirements:
Valid state drivers license
Able to travel locally
High School diploma or equivalent

Associates degree (preferred)
