Special Education Teacher – Resource/Inclusion | Phoenix, AZ | $45/hr | Full-Time | 36-Week Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students in grades 7–8. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the teacher will deliver individualized instruction, tutorial assistance, and collaborate with general education staff to ensure student success.

Position Overview

  • Location: Phoenix, AZ (specific campus TBD)

  • Grade Levels: 7th 8th grade students

  • Modality: Resource / Inclusion SPED position

  • Start Date: November 24, 2025

  • End Date: June 2026 (36 weeks)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hrs/week

  • Pay Rate: $45/hr

  • Travel: N/A

  • Interview: In-person or virtual

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs

  • Collaborate with general education staff to implement IEPs and student programs

  • Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation services to ensure inclusion success

  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district/state requirements

  • Participate in team planning and ARD/IEP meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

  • Valid state teaching certificate (Special Education CORE content certifications required)

  • Standard Elementary, Secondary, and Special Teaching certifications preferred

  • LBS1 endorsement preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience preferred

  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate (if required)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
