Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Assignment

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for conducting comprehensive student evaluations and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy services within a school-based setting. Services are provided in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs), established plans of care, and physician directives. The SLP ensures accurate documentation and maintains compliance with all applicable regulatory and professional standards.

Position Overview

The SLP ensures accurate documentation and maintains compliance with all applicable regulatory and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals and physician orders
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as professional standards of practice
- Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and compliance standards
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Full compliance with all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) (preferred; may be required based on state or contract)
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience
- Local Pay Rate: $60.00 per hour
