- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract Length: 8 Weeks
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Pay Rate: $92.00 per hour
- Estimated Weekly Gross: Up to $3,680 per week
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders that impact students' academic and social success. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and support services.
This role includes conducting evaluations, providing direct therapy services, documenting student progress, and ensuring compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEPs and physician recommendations, when applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and strategies
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans to support student success
- Ensure compliance with all professional, state, and district guidelines
Required
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
- Ability to meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray clearance (if required)
- Current health certificate as required by state or district regulations
