We are hiring 4 Special Education Teachers for high school classrooms in Bay City, TX for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, structured setting with small caseloads and strong classroom support.
Position Details
- Location: Bay City, TX (High School)
- Start Date: 08/04/2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
- Contract Length: 37 weeks
- Pay Rate: $50/hour (up to $2,000/week)
- Openings: 4
- Interview: Virtual
- High School (Essential Academics)
- Self-contained, inclusion, or BMU classrooms
- Caseload: ~6–12 students
- Support: 2 paraprofessionals per classroom
- Provide instruction based on IEP goals
- Support academic and behavioral growth
- Write and manage IEPs
- Collaborate with staff and support teams
- Active Texas Special Education EC–12 certification
- Must hold Generalist/Core Subjects or a 7–12 content certification
- Experience in SPED settings preferred
