Details Of Assignment
- K–12 Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher role
- School placement determined after interview based on district needs and candidate location
- Building hours vary by age group (typically between 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.)
- Candidate may be presented with multiple placement options when available
- District requires full ODE Intervention Specialist license
- Alternative, pending, or Education Degree Unlimited Substitute licenses not accepted
- Documentation completed using district systems
- Virtual interview required with recruitment and talent acquisition team
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver academic, behavioral, and functional support across assigned caseload
- Implement accommodations and modifications
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
- Maintain documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Participate in planning meetings and student support discussions
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist (ODE) License (required)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior special education or intervention experience preferred
- CPR, TB screening, and health certificate if required
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Business casual dress code (no jeans, ripped clothing, graphic shirts, hoodies; closed-toe shoes required)
