Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Central Point, Oregon for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Highlights? Start Date: September 21, 2026
? Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week
? Duration: 9-Month School Contract
? Location: In-Person Only
? Elementary School Setting (K-3)
? Approximate Caseload: 50 Students
? 60-70% Direct Service Hours
? SLPA Supervision Required
? Virtual Interview with SPED Team
?? Up to $72.00/Hour for Local Candidates
?? Travel Packages Available for Qualified Candidates
• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and support student achievement
? Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Oregon
? Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred/required for this assignment
? CCC-SLP preferred
? Current CPR certification if applicable
? Current TB screening and health certificate if required
? Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements
? Must be at least 18 years of age

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
