About The Role
As a School-Based SLP, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations.
- Provide direct therapy services aligned with each student's individualized treatment plan.
- Document services accurately and promptly in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals.
- Follow all professional, ethical, and school-based standards of practice.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in West Virginia (required)
- CCC-SLP preferred; may be required per contract or state regulations
- Compliance with professional standards of practice
- CPR certification, if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
- Current health certificate, per contract/state regulation
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
