Position Details
- Location: Billerica, MA
- Facility Type: Correctional Facility
- Start Date: 2/2
- Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension
- Schedule Options:
- Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Pay: $60/hr local or $2,650 travel, paid weekly
- Administer medications and assist with medical treatments
- Perform triage, risk assessments, and emergency first aid
- Apply surgical dressings and bandages
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Collect specimens for diagnostic testing
- Document care accurately and timely
- Report reactions to treatments and changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and assist with discharge planning
- Promote a therapeutic and professional environment
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 1 year of correctional healthcare or psychiatric experience
- Current CPR certification
