Rocky Knoll Health Care Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Long Term Care (LTC) contract role. This position is ideal for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
The RN will be responsible for overseeing patient care, making clinical decisions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for residents in both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation settings.

The RN will be responsible for overseeing patient care, making clinical decisions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for residents in both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a Long Term Care setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Assist with admissions and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation using PointClickCare
- Support and guide other nursing staff as needed
Local Candidates:
- $52/hour
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,080
- $27/hour stipends
- Housing: $770/week
- Meals: $476/week
- Estimated Weekly Package: $2,326
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Must have worked within the past year
- LTC and/or short-term rehab experience required
- Admissions experience required
- Experience with PointClickCare preferred
- Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments
- Current CPR certification
- Must meet all state and federal compliance requirements
- Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check (WIS BID Form)
- National background check
- 10-panel drug screen (including THC)
- TB test (within 6 months)
- Physical exam and vaccination records/declinations
- Two professional references
- Auto-offer position (no client interview required)
- Must arrive locally by the Sunday prior to start
- Orientation begins on Monday (no alternate start dates)
- Credentials due the Wednesday before start date
- Full 13-week schedule provided on Day 1
- No 12-hour shifts (facility runs 8-hour shifts only)
- Every other weekend required
