Position Details
- Location: Santa Maria, CA 93454
- Student Population: K–12
- Schedule:
- Weekdays
- 37.5 hours per week
- Contract Length: 36-week contract
- Start Date: August 13, 2026
- Compensation:
- ~$60/hour (local)
- ~$2,500/week (travel package with stipends)
- Timekeeping: Stafferlink
- Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and manage IEPs, including documentation and compliance
- Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Support both academic and behavioral needs across K–12 settings
- Multiple openings offer flexibility in placement
- Valid state teaching certification (Special Education required)
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
- Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience (preferred)
- Certification Types Preferred:
- Standard Elementary Teaching
- Standard Secondary Teaching
- Standard Special Education Teaching
- Endorsement Preferred: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as required)
- Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Virtual interview required
