Are you passionate about supporting students with challenging behaviors and making a meaningful difference in a school setting? We’re looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician to join a collaborative intermediate school team in Westfield, Indiana.
Position OverviewThis is a 1:1, school-based role supporting a student with challenging and extreme behaviors in a classroom environment. You’ll play a key role in implementing behavior strategies and helping the student succeed academically and socially.
What You’ll Do- Provide 1:1 behavioral support in an intermediate school classroom
- Implement behavior intervention plans using ABA therapy techniques
- Support emotional regulation, social skills, and positive behavior outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and support teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- 32 hours per week
- $25/hour
- 10-week assignment with strong potential for renewal into the 2026–2027 school year
- At least 1 year of experience working with children using ABA therapy techniques
- Relevant and recent experience supporting children with challenging or extreme behaviors
- Experience working 1:1 in a school or classroom setting preferred
- Strong communication skills, patience, and professionalism
