What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Psych LPN - Youth Residential Recovery - Lakewood, CO position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.
The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.
Minimum Requirements
Setting: psych (adolescents focus, adults on the occasion), residential recovery
Location: Lakewood, CO
Hourly: $40-41
Hours: 36/wk
Shift: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Start: ~mid May
Duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
Requirement: 2 years psych experience 6 months minimum with adolescents

- 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
