Amergis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aide / Behavioral Classroom Aide to support students in a school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with teachers, therapists, and school staff to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioral or learning challenges.
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support students in developing positive behaviors and social skills.
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
?? Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some districts may require additional education or certifications).
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to student success.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
