Qualifications
- Experience in a behavioral health setting
- Valid driver's license, and use of a personal vehicle to transport residents as needed to appointments and errands within the community
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major
- High school degree or equivalent
- Routine lifting
Job Duties
- Initiate constructive activities that address goals on a client's Individual treatment plan
- Drive residents to errands and appointments within the community
- Facilitate community inclusion, daily living, and skill acquisition
- Utilization of sound judgement and maintenance of calm demeanor during crisis
- Provide needed behavioral and/or mental health support
- Provide needed personal and/or medical care
