Position Summary: Behavior Tech – After-School Program
The Behavior Technician plays a critical role in delivering educational and behavioral support services to children and adults with special needs. This role specifically supports clients in an after-school program setting, providing structure, supervision, and targeted behavioral interventions during after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or group behavioral interventions in home, school, after-school program, or community settings.
- Implement treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as directed by supervising clinicians.
- Collect accurate and timely data on client progress and behavior for ongoing assessment.
- Assist in developing social, communication, and daily living skills through structured activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during all after-school sessions.
- Communicate effectively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and maintain compliance with best practices.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred; experience with individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges is a plus.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification if applicable.
- Health Requirements: TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray as required by state/local regulations.
- Compliance: Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements for the role.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
