Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with strong knowledge of Florida real estate law to support our growing investment operations. This role will focus primarily on purchase and sale transactions involving both commercial and residential properties, with an emphasis on investment acquisitions, rehabs, and long-term portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements for commercial and residential real estate transactions
- Provide legal guidance on Florida real estate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title review, zoning considerations, and risk assessment
- Advise on investment strategies related to property acquisition, disposition, and portfolio management
- Support transactions involving property rehabilitation, redevelopment, and value-add opportunities
- Coordinate with brokers, lenders, title companies, and other transaction stakeholders
- Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the State of Florida
- Extensive knowledge of Florida real estate law
- Proven experience handling commercial and residential real estate transactions
- Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale contracts
- Familiarity with investment-focused real estate strategies (rehab, hold, portfolio expansion)
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines efficiently
- Experience working with real estate investors or investment firms
- Knowledge of financing structures and lender requirements
- Background in title, land use, or real estate development matters
Pay: $87,728.38 - $105,651.38 per year
