Trimmer, Framer, or Carpenter
Location: Malakoff, TX
Job Type: Full-Time-Temp to Hire
Pay: $15-$17 based on Attendance
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Trimmer & Framer Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with wood framing, trim installation, and finish carpentry in residential and/or commercial construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Construct and install wall, floor, and roof framing systems.
- Measure, cut, and install interior and exterior trim materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Install doors, windows, baseboards, crown molding, and other finish carpentry components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Verify measurements and ensure work meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on job sites.
Qualifications
- Previous framing, trim, or carpentry experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and measurements.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential construction.
- Knowledge of finish carpentry and custom trim work.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Ability to operate construction equipment and lifts.
