Description:
A kind and dependable family in Prospect is seeking a long-term Nanny for their children, ages 7 and 4. Their beloved nanny of five years is relocating, and they hope for a gentle transition with some overlap. The anticipated schedule is Monday–Friday from 12:00pm–5:30pm, beginning early January 2026.
Care includes school pickups (a family vehicle is provided), preparing simple snacks, supporting tidy routines, and engaging the kids in fun, enriching activities. Their son finishes school at 12:30pm, and their daughter typically finishes at 3:30pm or 4:30pm depending on after-school activities.
The family values reliability, consistency, and open communication. They’re easygoing day to day and simply appreciate someone who enjoys being with kids, stays organized, and brings warmth and positive energy to the afternoons.
The ideal candidate has experience with school-aged children, is a safe and confident driver, and enjoys outdoor play, reading, and creative projects.
The family offers $23–$26 per hour, guaranteed regular hours, paid vacation (one aligned with a family vacation), paid sick leave, paid holidays, and a comfortable, supportive work environment. The family's current Nanny is willing to provide a reference on behalf of the family.
