Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse serving as Assistant Director of Nursing at our Lafayette, LA location. The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist in overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. Responsibilities include supporting nursing staff, implementing and monitoring infection control protocols, coordinating medical services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the care provided to residents in a long-term care setting. The role requires strong collaboration with the leadership team and other clinical professionals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Nursing and Medicine with a solid understanding of providing care in a professional setting
• Experience in Nursing Management, including leading teams and managing day-to-day nursing operations
• Strong knowledge of Infection Control practices and protocols
• Expertise in Long-term Care and the ability to provide guidance and oversight for resident care plans
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, residents, and families
• Prior experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is preferred
