Responsibilities: Support a wide range of project management, planning, and analytical functions in alignment with organizational goals and strategic direction. Assist with Integrated Budget Planning and Execution System (IBPES) subtask planning by inputting provided data and progressively developing full plans with guidance. Assist with procurement management by gathering quotes, submitting IBPES requests, and maintaining procurement tracking tools.
Attend technical meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes for proper formatting and distribution. Contribute to the development, enhancement, and ongoing management of the Confluence/Jira project management environment and assist in updating project goals to ensure alignment with evolving command-level strategic plans.
Review project management tools and practices to recommend improvements, while collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information to define problems, evaluate relevant data, and develop actionable recommendations for the Government. This position requires an understanding of organizational structures, intergovernmental relationships, and internal culture, with findings communicated through written reports and oral presentations.
Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes, including: management of Bill of Materials (BOMs); creating 1149 documents; management of material receipt, storage, and kitting.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Three (3) years of experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations. Knowledge of various software and systems is highly beneficial but not required, including ERP, IBPES, SharePoint, Confluence/Jira, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project or comparable project management tools.
Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
