Seeking a Senior Director technical leader to drive the teams working on GPU performance optimization, competitive analysis, deep learning training/inference efficiency, and architecture innovation through advanced optimization techniques.
The Person
A strong and collaborative leader who can guide SoC/System performance engineers working on competitive workload performance/power analysis and optimization. Work with SoC/System performance architects and design teams to influence design decisions for AMD’s Instinct products.

- Strategic Vision: Define long-term GPU performance and optimization roadmaps.
- Performance Excellence: Identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks in compute, memory, and interconnects.
- Design Influence: Partner with architects on next-gen GPU and framework design.
- Innovation: Develop new optimization features in micro-architecture/power-mgmt/software
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with product, business, and research teams.
- Culture: Promote technical excellence and performance-first engineering.
- 20 years of experience in leading performance architecture optimization teams
- Deep expertise in GPU performance architecture, parallel computing, and performance analysis/optimization.
- Proven leadership in guiding large engineering teams.
- Strong communication with executives, technical teams, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of large-scale AI/HPC systems, multi-node GPU clusters, and memory hierarchies.

Salary : $266,400 - $399,600
