THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to enable validation and performance optimization of AMD server CPUs with partner products. This role is responsible for ensuring technical alignment, readiness, and successful joint solution development in support of AMD’s data center and server market objectives. The individual will work closely with AMD engineering teams and external partners to drive technical issue resolution, feature alignment, and product enablement.

THE PERSON:

You are an experienced engineer with deep expertise in the server industry and a strong understanding of multi-core processor architectures. You collaborate effectively across teams, solve complex technical challenges, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. You are proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering system-level solutions that strengthen AMD’s success in the server ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enable validation and performance optimization of AMD server CPUs with partner products.
  • Track progress and ensure alignment and readiness with AMD’s product launch plans.
  • Drive closure of open technical issues by leveraging AMD and partner subject matter experts.
  • Develop and maintain long-term technical feature alignment between AMD server and partner products.
  • Create system-level (hardware and software) solutions and articulate the technical value proposition of joint partner-enabled offerings.
  • Author and co-author technical collateral, including application notes, tuning guides, and whitepapers, to position AMD products in target markets.
  • Define detailed requirements and co-develop joint partner demos and proofs of concept.
  • Collaborate with partners to create statements of work (SOW) for implementation as needed.
  • Work with partners to develop detailed benchmarking and performance validation plans on AMD platforms.
  • Train, socialize, and evangelize AMD’s technical value proposition to internal teams and external partners.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep technical experience in the server industry with strong knowledge of multi-core processors.
  • Familiarity with server technologies, ecosystem trends, and software/hardware system solutions.
  • Strong understanding of PCIe and CXL technologies.
  • Knowledge of memory hardware technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven success working across functional organizations and achieving high levels of customer and partner satisfaction.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Salary : $184,000 - $276,000
