The Role

The Solutions Manager will work with one, or more, OEM and AMD cross-functional teams to help maximize AMD portfolio penetration in the market by developing and driving solution stacks with related benchmarking and necessary marketing content to support AMD server sales goals.

The Person

The candidate should be prepared to jump in, take the lead and learn quickly. You must have the ability to communicate effectively, plus be highly organized and have interpersonal skills. The candidate will need to effectively understand AMD marketing objectives, key messages, and develop operational discipline to enable those strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Stack Development & Technical Leadership

  • Lead investment initiatives with OEM partners to develop innovative AMD-based solution stacks (HCI, Virtualizations, SDS, Database and Analytics, Edge/Telco) across targeted workloads, verticals, and market segments.
  • Develop winning solution stacks that drive AMD server portfolio growth, including benchmarking, ISV pipeline development, certifications, and supporting go-to-market (GTM) materials.
  • Engage AMD and OEM stakeholders to extend server platforms into full solution stacks that address customer needs and accelerate market adoption.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of modern server platform architecture, including processors and ecosystem, with the ability to communicate complex concepts simply.
  • Assess competitive landscape and perform win/loss and performance analysis to refine strategy and positioning.
  • Project management multiple initiatives with cross functional teams, including OEM teams, in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with clear accountability and follow-through.
  • Develop solution briefs, competitive messaging, training materials, and sales enablement assets to support solution adoption.
  • Build and maintain long-term solution plans, integrating AMD platforms into OEM partner tools, programs, and marketing bundles.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and scalability of messaging and solution positioning.
  • Understand customer pain points, buyer/user personas, and market opportunities to translate insights into effective solution sales plays and enablement strategies.
  • Evangelize AMD solutions internally and across OEM sales teams to drive adoption in priority workloads and verticals.
  • Deliver training and tools to enable a proactive, informed sales force with strong competitive positioning.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in the computing industry (OEM, ODM, or technology provider), with customer-facing marketing or solutions role.
  • Strong knowledge of modern server platform architecture, processors, and ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
  • Highly results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to immerse oneself into OEM’s products and develop understanding of their solutions needs subsequently building actionable sales and marketing solutions used to drive sales
  • Experience developing external facing presentations, leading cross-functional initiatives, and managing deliverables with accountability and consistent follow-up.
  • Understanding of both technical and business buyer personas in server and data center markets.
  • Proven ability to develop integrated solutions messaging leveraging third-party ecosystems for GTM and training.


Academic Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
  • MBA or equivalent experience required
