THE PERSON:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee the Vivado Router team. This role demands a visionary who can drive innovation, manage complex projects, and lead a team of talented engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in FPGA technology, software development, and team leadership. They will be responsible for leading the team, planning software development projects, creating documentation, and delivering software products for both internal and external customers. Experience with cross-team management is essential. Additionally, this role requires the ability to lead, interact, and collaborate with global counterparts to ensure effective project delivery. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with the ability to multitask, are crucial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the Vivado Router team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of next generation FPGA-based routing solutions to get multi-fold performance improvements (QoR, Compile Time, Memory Usage)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in FPGA technology and software development.
- Participate and play a critical role in planning project deliverables
- Perform individual goal planning and evaluation per AMD policies
- Maintain the health and morale of the team
- Develop and grow the engineering skills of the team
- Provide periodic management/executive updates
- Proven experience in software development and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of FPGA architecture and programming.
- Proficiency in C and Python.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience in software engineering and architectural leadership.
- Consistent record of delivering high-quality software on time.
- Proven track record in planning and delivering complex software products.

Salary : $232,000 - $348,000
