- Location:Austin, TX; Boxborough, MA; Fort Collins, CO (summer); or Longmont, CO (summer)
- Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term
- Spring/Summer Co-op: January 26, 2026 - August 7, 2026
- Summer/Fall Co-op: May 18, 2026 or June 22, 2026 - December 11, 2026
- Spring: January 26, 2026 - May 1, 2026
- Summer: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026 or June 22, 2026 - September 11, 2026
- Fall: September 14, 2026 - December 11, 2026
Do you want to help improve experiences of groundbreaking AMD products? If so, AMD Hardware team is the right place for you. We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Engineering co-op and in this role:
- You will collaborate with Engineers and be responsible for some of AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products.
- We will train you to build applications for external and internal use as well as large scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization.
- You are currently enrolled in a US based University into a Undergrad program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
- If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply -
- C/C , Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB.
- ASIC design and verification.
- ML and AI.
- System/Board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, power design.
- Hardware automation, validation and test.
- UNIX and JTAG tools.
- Pre-silicon and/or post-silicon platforms.
- Computer architecture, CPU & GPU architecture.

Salary : $59,072 - $88,608
