Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in multifamily facilities maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, some painting, HVAC repairs, filter changes and appliance and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair service issues in a timely manner
- Maintain and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and fixtures
- Supervise and coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs completed
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience in facilities maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC systems
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Knowledge of logic controllers for troubleshooting purposes

- Strong customer service skills when interacting with tenants or residents
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in supervising maintenance staff or contractors
