Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Understanding and ability to work in each position through the warehouse (LSWI, LCWI, Materials, Corrugate, Shipping, Deliveries and LTL)
Review and inspect trailers as a final decision based on safety and ISO/SQF standards
MyDevelopment Course: Key Principles of ISO 9000
Maintain warehouse organization including but not limited to:
Making room and organizing locations
Cleaning/removing damaged or disorderly products
Verifying inventory and searching for lost parts as needed for shipments
Miscellaneous tasks such as pulling scrap orders or sending ordered parts to other locations
MyDevelopment Course – Managing your time so it doesn’t manage you
Taken and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment Courses:

Have the availability to work any shift and cover for vacations as needed

Perform any other required task as directed
Load/unload shipments, deliveries and production trailers
Approve or reject trailers as needed
Make and receive calls between departments to facilitate communication and conveyance of materials as needed
Coach or redirect team members to ensure tasks are being completed
Support training program by monitoring all new hires for their first 60 days
MyDevelopment Course: Train the Trainer – Amcor
Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department requirements
Monitor and coach employees to make sure that tasks are completed as expected
Support and be an example of the Amcor Code of Respect and Amcor Values to all employees
Cover for Senior Logistics Coordinator (WI) when absent or leave early.
Track and monitor carrier detention
Ship confirms all shipments and maintains shipment accuracy
Coordinate all drop trailer shipments
Responsible for monitoring in-bound CIOs and routing to the correct department
Customer specific requirements and notes for paperwork, billing and sealing
Responsible for all EV8 billing – See Docs (WI/02489&WI/02488
AUTHORITIES
Monitor inventory control to maximize warehouse utilization
Request missing inventory to be removed by the inventory team
Read and send emails to ensure complete communication as needed
Understands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policies
Complete efficient documentation, material-tracking documentation and utilize JDE and/or MEP system tracking
Ability to understand Consignment program and EV3 procedures and locations
Read, understand and maintain delivery schedule
JDE trained to perform Inquiries-Orders, BOL’s, Inventory, PO’s, Requisitions, Ship Confirm, Release Partial Shipments, and the Load Managers Tote Board
TMC trained on Inbound and Outbound Freight (not including small packages) for Auto Tendering, Book to Select or Spot Bidding Loads. Able to Merge Loads /Un-Merging Loads, Activity Board Use and Manual BOL’s
Ability to schedule a load with understanding and use of the Load Managers Tote Board, Explanation of color codes in VSL - Shipping, FRT Class Summary, releasing a SCHEDULED load back to CS, able to schedule a load with no order detail and schedule a Multiple Stop Truck.
Ability to run and maintain shipping paperwork like Print BOL / Pack Slip, Reprocess / Cancel Bill of Lading / Pack Slip, Reprint BOL / Pack Slip, Correct BOL (before ship confirm), Manual BOL / Pack Slip, Master BOL
Ability to process miscellaneous notes for Shipping from CS regarding the load, F8 Notes placed on the load for future reference, run Bill of Lading Inquiry, check on Freight Class Maintenance and Freight Terms
Run Labels-LTL, ASN, Coke-Riteway, Promo, etc.
Unusual loads- i.e. Turner Plastic, Ivy Miller, Mauer loads
FedEx and UPS trained
Internal Shipping Requests (ISRs) and Samples process
Pull, label, create paperwork, and load LTL shipments for carrier pickup
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED equivalent
Proven decision making and demonstrated respect among peers
Must be able to meet all the above responsibilities to perform the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong PC and analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Proven ability to understand all MEP, JDE, Excel, and any other in-house software programs implemented
Fork truck certification required
Able to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the building
