EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum education requirement, an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or supply chain management is preferred. Experience-wise, candidates should have previous work experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or transportation. Good organizational, communication, and computer skills are essential. Training on industry-specific software may be provided on the job. Some physical requirements may also be necessary, such as lifting heavy packages or operating a forklift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Review shipping documentation and ensure accuracy of information
- Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pick-up and delivery schedules
- Demonstrated intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge and usage
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations
- Create and maintain shipping and receiving reports for management review
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies in shipments or deliveries
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to shipping and receiving
- Manage and organize warehouse space to optimize storage and minimize damage to products
- Ability to obtain or already possess forklift operator certification
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including answering questions and resolving issues related to shipping and receiving.
