Responsibilities
Job Description
- Provide a well-planned production schedule
- Work with all departments to identify best methods for performance improvements
- Maximize machine efficiencies, maintain budgeted inventory levels to meet requirements
- Monitor inventory control to properly cycle molds and printers
- Work with sub-contractors to utilize outsourcing as needed
- Work with Customer Service Representatives to insure all issues are addressed
- Provide management information regarding capacity and utilization for assigned work centers
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department health requirements
- Change production schedule to best meet customer requirements, including priority list and weekend schedule
- Create and delete work orders to meet demand
- Acknowledge order dates to Customer Service
- Sub parts list to best utilize inventory consumption
- Maintain master data for assigned planner items
- Ensure Not Scheduled time recorded accurately
- 2-3 years experience in materials planning and inventory management preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong PC and analytical skills
- Strong organizational/time management skills
