Entry Level Manufacturing Positions
Job Description:
10 hour hours shifts are Monday-Thursday (3 day weekends)

· Maintains continuous machine operations between shifts by reporting to assigned workstation prepared to assume production from previous shift at shift start.
· Performs and is responsible for in-process and final on-line inspection and testing of manufactured product.
· Ensures quality control requirements are met by reviewing all special instructions and requirements.
· Documents machine settings and quality checks/tests.
· Resolves production problems by altering minor machine set points; notifying shift operations specialist for assistance; if necessary, discontinue manufacturing operations until the problem is resolved.
· Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Assist maintenance technicians in performing preventive maintenance as needed.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stand, walk up and down stairs for up to 12 hours per day.
· Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds with the help of another team member
· Ergonomics are 95% standing or walking and 0% sitting and 5% using a keyboard.
· Must be able to communicate in order to receive instruction and training, and instruct, train, or assist employees.
· Must be able to twist, turn, bend, kneel, squat and work at a rapid pace.
· Must have 20/20 vision with correction for inspecting.
· Must not be sensitive to powder.
· Must be able to wear ear plugs to limit exposure to loud noise.
· Reasonable accommodations may be considered on a case by case basis.
· Medium Work. Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
Education & Experience Required for all entry-level manufacturing positions
· High School Diploma/GED equivalent preferred
· Previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required
· Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
· Good interpersonal skills
· Good organization skills
· Possess adequate math, measurement, and reading skills
· Good verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
