- Ability to work with blueprints, schematics and PLC program listing to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic and solid-state equipment.
- Must be responsive in correcting electrical problems of machine technicians.
- Maintain adequate electrical supplies and repair parts to service machinery and prevent any prolonged down time.
- Required to submit requisitions for purchase orders to Supervisor for repair parts or any other material required in his/her area of responsibility as needed.
- Perform necessary preventative, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance required to upkeep production and building electrical equipment including AC & DC drives, PLC and other system controls.
- Maintain plant emergency lighting system, including weekly performance check.
- Maintain any logs or records required by State or Federal codes, or company procedures.
