• Inspect product to ensure quality; set aside product that is below quality standards.
• Work closely with Leads and alert the Team Leader or Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Timely response to quality issues is key to this position.
• Notify the Team Leader of any safety, machinery, raw material, quality, preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, packaging or documentation concerns.
• Document information correctly on the reports for production and any downtime.
• Follow proper packaging procedures for printed product to ensure damage does not occur through shipping.
• Responsible for proper labeling of printed product being packaged for shipment.
• Informed as to what production is expected of a printing machine to ensure production goals are met.
• Makes basic machine adjustments to maintain a quality print.
• Various other duties as assigned.
