What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Shuttle Driver position at Amcor Flexibles, LLC?
RESPONSIBILITIES
Local Driving
No Touch Freight
* Fill out trailer log
* Spot carrier trailers and Berry trailers as requested
* Spot LTL trailers as requested
* Fuel trucks as needed
* Keep truck in safe working order
* Work with Receiving when requested
* Fill out D.O.T. inspection sheet
* Take and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment courses, and any other courses that are deemed necessary
* Lot check information as needed
* Understands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policies
AUTHORITIES
* Take loaded trailers to outside warehouse
* Take empty trailers from outside warehouses to main plant
* Take trailers from docks as requested
* Must record movements using the ToughBook and the Shuttle Tote Board
QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or GED
* Class A CDL required
* Requires sitting, standing and climbing
* Must be able to drive truck in safe and professional manner
* Ability to work in extremes of heat/cold
* Verbal communications adequate to use a radio and or paging system to contact other co-workers in other areas of the complex
