Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or van to transport items between locations.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of various items, including furniture and equipment.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as dollies for efficient movement of goods.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading area.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job.
Skills
- Experience in heavy lifting and moving is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is preferred.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or as a van driver is advantageous.
- Knowledge of courier services and delivery procedures is a plus.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
