The Opportunity...
The Porsche Experience Centers (PEC) are a brand immersion destination for automobile enthusiasts. They offer the ability for guests of all ages to take in the heritage of the brand, experience the Porsche lifestyle and the thrill of the drive, allowing Porsche to build connections with people from all walks of life.
AMCI is contracted by Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) to deliver the core operations for each PEC: drive, logistics, events, marketing, retail store and customer experience.
The role of the Chief Driving Instructor is to develop and be responsible for every element of the Driving Curriculum at the PEC Atlanta. Moreover, they will have overall responsibility for all instructors, including recruiting, training and scheduling. In addition, they will ensure that best safety practices are always utilized in every possible event to ensure that Porsche remains the most aspirational brand in the USA.
How You'll Contribute...
· Responsible for all daily South, West & Offroad driving operations
· Responsible for entire Driving Instructor team
· Effective daily management and oversite of Asst. Driving Instructors and Operations Specialist
· Ongoing development, training and management of safety procedures
· Driving instructor recruiting, vetting, training and further development
· Conduct daily instructor briefings and broadcast critical SOPs
· Enforce best practices and discipline as necessary
· Prepare and attend weekly one to one meetings with PCNA Operations Manager
· Prepare and attend weekly group meetings with other teams as necessary
· Coordinate with Vehicle Logistics to ensure smooth staging and presentation of vehicles
· Adhere to minimal guest incident rate and maintain zero Driving Instructor incident rate
· Maintain open and transparent communications with PCNA PEC leadership
· Refine curriculum and processes for managing the programs offered
· Continual development of best-in-class safety procedures
· Continual development and refinement of daily operations and procedures
· Co-management and refinement of the Drive Team operations manual
· Porsche Drive Coach hiring, training and ongoing development
· Ongoing course/module consultation with PCNA and AMCI
· Proactively develop new formats, concepts and strategies intended to enhance the guest experience
· Monitor competitor programs and report findings/learnings to PCNA on an annual basis
· Ongoing proactive session capacity growth effort and advise PCNA
· Liaise with facility management for smooth, uninterrupted drive operations

Other Considerations...
Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Minimum 21 years of age
· Must be proficient in all Microsoft office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
· Must have proactive, strategic and creative mindsets
· Ability to manage and oversee several activities at once
· Ability to effectively motivate and lead a team of 50 instructors
· Ability to effectively and professionally delegate tasks and responsibilities
· Ability to successfully lead a large team and deliver client objectives
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, salaried role, most often working Tuesday – Saturday. Occasionally working on a Sunday and/or Monday may be required which would replace a normal workday in your schedule. The salary range is $100,000 - $110,000.
