Overview
You will build cost accounting systems from the ground up at newly acquired subsidiaries. You will create accurate product costing, inventory tracking, and reporting frameworks that improve operational transparency and financial decision-making. You will partner closely with the Head of Finance to implement automation tools and modernize financial operations across multiple manufacturing environments.

Qualifications
- Expert in cost accounting, product costing, margin analysis, and manufacturing financial workflows
- Strong understanding of standard cost, variance analysis, and inventory accounting
- Ability to build cost frameworks from scratch in small manufacturing environments
- Experience with accounting and ERP systems
- Ability to synthesize operational data into accurate cost structures
- Comfortable working with engineers, operators, and production managers to collect and validate inputs
- Strong familiarity of inventory accounting in a manufacturing environment
- A&D experience is a plus
- Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel and operational reporting
- Communication skills

- Analyze cost variances and identify operational drivers
- Work with production teams to validate labor routing, material usage, and overhead assumptions
- Build dashboards and reporting tools that support operational and financial decision-making
- Partner closely with the Head of Finance to implement automation tools and integrate cost accounting into broader finance systems
- Support financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting with accurate cost inputs
- Assist in preparing materials for audits, lenders, and internal reviews
