Position Overview
Our credit union partner is seeking a full-time Branch Manager to lead operations at two Ames branches. This role is responsible for branch performance, including productivity, community presence, member experience, facilities, and staff engagement and development. The ideal candidate provides exceptional service, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and is committed to cooperative values and community-focused principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall branch performance and operations at Ames Branch on Main and ISU Branch located in the ISU Memorial Union.
- Deliver an exceptional member experience and drive relationship growth.
- Coach, develop, and engage staff to build a high-performing team.
- Promote sales and service excellence through cross-service opportunities.
- Maintain strong community presence and partnerships.
- Ensure safety and security of members, employees, and assets by adhering to regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives with VP of Branch Operations and other Branch Managers related to service delivery and member retention.
Education & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree.
- Broad knowledge of lending, member service and teller functions.
- 6 years of experience in a financial institution in a customer service role including lending.
- Demonstrated ability to promote sales growth.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, including accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience leading a team and supervising people.
- Qualifies as MLO and complies with registration process for NMLS listing.
