Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical knowledge, mechanical skills, and experience with low voltage systems. Duties
- Install and commission fire alarm systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and NEC standards
- Conduct system inspections, testing sensors, alarms, and control panels to ensure proper functionality
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings for system layout and installation procedures
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with fire sprinkler fitting and integration of fire alarm systems within construction projects
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues, repair components, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades to ensure seamless integration of electrical and low voltage systems
- Document work performed in accordance with company standards and client requirements
Experience
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or Service Technician in fire alarm system installation and maintenance
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of low voltage wiring, sensors, power tools, and hand tools
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, system design, CAD software, and construction inspection processes
- Knowledge of NEC codes related to fire alarm systems and electrical safety standards
- Experience in fire sprinkler fitting or fire alarm sales is a plus
- Construction experience or working within the construction industry is highly desirable
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and system layouts
- Prior field service experience working directly on-site with customers or clients

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
