Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PAIN MANAGEMENT X RAY TECH PRN to join our healthcare team. This role requires a highly motivated radiologic technologist with specialized expertise in pain management procedures.
AVAILABILITY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, NO WEEKENDS, NO NIGHTS, NO HOLIDAYS
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures with OEC C Arm 9800/9900
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all imaging procedures to maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluation of musculoskeletal, neurological, and soft tissue conditions related to pain management.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists or physicians.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and technical findings in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures while providing compassionate care and clear instructions.
Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with valid licensure for medical imaging procedures in Maryland
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles
- Demonstrated ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety standards during invasive or sterile procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and patient education.
- Valid AHA CPR
