Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Paramedic located in Washington, PA. The Paramedic will provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need. Daily responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, administering pre-hospital treatment, transporting patients safely, and documenting patient care and treatment effectively. The Paramedic will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Proficient in emergency medical care, pre-hospital treatment, and patient assessment
- Skilled in operating medical equipment and administering medications
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Certified as a state-licensed Paramedic (National Registry Paramedic Certification preferred)
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Valid driver’s license and EVOC
- Exceptional documentation and report-writing skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in EMS or related fields is an asset
