We are currently looking for a Roadway Inspector to support transportation and
infrastructure projects across Miami-Dade County. If you're detail-oriented, confident in
the field, and ready to contribute to high-impact work, we'd love to connect.
What You'll Do
• Monitoring on-site construction activities
• Inspecting materials in accordance with construction documents.
• Maintaining accurate records of daily activities.
• Preparing inspection reports
• Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control
What You Bring
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of relevant post-education experience, including construction
inspection
• Strong field inspection background
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
• Basic proficiency in technical writing, office software, and digital tools
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, colleagues, and
contractors
• Valid state driver's license
Preferred Credentials
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
• FDOT Intermediate MOT Certification
• Nuclear Radiation Safety Certification
• Associate's degree in closely related discipline
