This role will be to help oversee a 416 unit complex in North Dallas. Vista Buena Apartments is hiring for an Assistant Property Manager with previous Class C experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bilingual Assistant Property Manager role based in Dallas, TX. The Assistant Property Manager supports day-to-day property operations, including greeting and assisting prospective and current residents, answering phone and email inquiries, and conducting property tours in English and Spanish. Daily tasks include processing applications, preparing leases and renewals, collecting and recording rent payments, and assisting with notices and resident communications. The role helps coordinate maintenance requests, follows up on work orders, and ensures common areas and units are well-presented. The Assistant Property Manager also supports marketing efforts, such as posting and updating listings, assisting with resident events, and contributing ideas to improve resident satisfaction and community engagement. This position works closely with the Property Manager to maintain occupancy goals, uphold company policies, and deliver a high level of service to residents and visitors.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages to support residents and vendors.
- Experience in property management, leasing, or a related customer-facing role, preferably in multi-family housing.
- Customer service and resident relations skills, including conflict resolution, empathy, and a professional, solutions-focused approach.
- Basic administrative and organizational skills, including handling documentation, recordkeeping, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Comfort using property management software, email, online listing platforms, and common office applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Ability to work on-site full time in Dallas, TX, including occasional evenings or weekends as required for leasing activities or resident events.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with fair housing laws and basic leasing practices is preferred; willingness to learn and follow all compliance requirements is essential.
